Hold onto your prophetic hats this week as we take a break from chapter-by-chapter exposition of Revelation to take a giant step back and get some perspective on symbolism and the reliability of prophesy.

Mike Wendland will be joined this week by Andy Petry and the two will team teach some pretty fascinating material that will greatly enhance your understanding of God’s timeless principles, with a look at real historic events that we will all be able to relate to.

You can find  bring-to-class outlines of both of their messages up under Outlines on the top menubar.

Teaching starts promptly at 7 PM.

Be ready for some “Whoa!” moments…

I hope you have enjoyed your Christmas and New Year’s break and are looking forward to resuming our stidy of the Book of Revelation.

We gather Wednesday, Jan. 4 and will be studying Chapter 11 of Revelation.

I have posted the class outline.

Just a heads up on next week: There will be no homework next week, Jan. 11, as we will be doing a special breakout session on symbolism in the Bible that will help us as we zoom in on the second half of this amazing book of Revelation.

Chapter 9 is one of the most challenging, provocative and fascinating chapters in all the BIble. Class this week should really be interesting.

The Message Outline for Chapter 9 is now posted above along with the  questions for next week.

Please plan on being in class in person this week. This is a pivotal chapter in our study. While we also hope to be able to stream it live, Internet congestion and ytechnical issues beyond our control may make that difficult.

We will post a recorded version of the message after the class but this week is an important part of the study and you should be there if at all possible. I look forward to seeing you at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday for worship, 7 p.m. in Room 179 for class.

Welcome back after the Thanksgiving break. We resume Wednesday night Nov. 30 with our study of Revelation Chapter 8.
